I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to write about and teach something I love and believe can help people grow, change, and heal. As I was telling my friend Seth Michael recently, if something I write or teach speaks to even one person, that is reason enough to have done it. And so, I’m grateful to you, my readers and students, who summon great courage to step on the path to intentional healing. It’s beautiful, meaningful, powerful, difficult work, and you’re all warriors in the best sense of the word. Thank you.
Thank you to my project manager and editor at Callisto, Stacy Wagner-Kinnear, the first person to trust me to write an energy healing book (
Crystals for Healing
). In doing so, you helped one of my dreams come true, and you continue to play a vital role in that.
I’m also grateful to my husband, Jim, and my sons, Tanner and Kevin, for continuing to put up with having an author in the family and all the missed meals that occur as a result. Thanks also to my mom, Brenda, who has shown me this past year, in the wake of my dad’s death, what courage and grace truly look like.
I’d also like to thank my tribe. Kristen Gray and Kasci Lawrence pulled me through what was an incredibly difficult past year with the power of love, laughter, and female friendships. The members of the Vision Collective—Sharon Lewis, Tristan Luciotti, Amy Castellano, Seth Michael, Jyl Straub, Jason and Carolyn Masuoka, Mackenna Long, Kristen Gray, and Luis Navarrete—have been a joy to work and teach with, and I’m proud to be a member.
Thank you, as well, to all of my teachers—both those who meant to teach me and those who did so accidentally. One of my life’s greatest blessings is that our paths crossed somewhere along the way and I’ve learned from you.
And finally, thanks to my dog, Monkey. She thinks she helps when I write. Who am I to argue?
