TOM BLACK

I met Tom Black around 1999, as he was the center of a social group that I called “wine snobs.”

He loved hanging around music people and I loved drinking his wine. Tom has the biggest and best wine collection in all of Nashville, and maybe even the whole country. He is renowned worldwide for his expertise of fine wine.

I think it was Tom who, when he heard about my accident in Los Angeles on April 11, 2003, immediately called Dr. Paul McCombs, who jumped on a plane and flew to LA. To my fortune, he’s another one of the angels who were on call that night!
