Mary Beth Beuke is the founder of the International Sea Glass Association, president of the North American Sea Glass Association (from 2005 to 2010), and published sea glass writer, photographer, and speaker. She is a Pacific Northwest native with one of the world’s most elaborate sea glass collections. She is owner, artist, and collector for West Coast Sea Glass, and her sea glass art jewelry is now found in more than fifty galleries all over the world. She’s journeyed the planet for sea glass for a lifetime and her story and collection have been featured on the Travel Channel, in National Geographic, Smithsonian, Coastal Living, Parade, Radio New Zealand, Ocean Home, Seattle Times, Sunset, and more. She exhibits her collection at museums and libraries often. Mary Beth has won Startup Nation’s “Leading Moms in Business” award. She lives and uses her sea glass collection in fine art jewelry while working from two studios along the shores in Washington State where she is also the founder of the Smarties, Smart Art Instruction School for artist entrepreneurs. She has three children and enjoys kayaking and public speaking in her spare time.
