The four types of reading comprehension questions on the Praxis:

  • Brief statements followed by one question; these may include visual representation questions
  • Short passages of about 100 words, followed by two or three questions
  • Long passages of about 200 words, followed by four to seven questions
  • Paired passages of about 200 words total, followed by four to seven questions
