* Although there is a lot less work on partner preferences and sexual attitudes among members of the LGBTQ community, the research that does exist often paints a similar picture. For example, my colleagues and I found that whether men were straight, bisexual, or gay, they tended to regret missed sexual opportunities more than they regretted bad sex they’d had. In contrast, whether women were straight, bisexual, or lesbians, they tended to regret bad sex they’d had more than missed sexual opportunities.
