7 Missy’s first visit to the Robertson home took place as a teenager when she went to their house for a Sunday night church group meeting. She remembers that when she got there, she said to herself, “These people are different from anyone I’ve ever met.” A lot of people would probably say the same about Miss Kay and Phil. They are different from anyone most of us encounter on a regular basis, and they are different in all the best ways. Not much about them is ordinary, and they certainly do not fit the traditional stereotypes of in-laws. We could not be happier about that, and we could not love and appreciate them any more than we do. They are extraordinary individuals and extraordinary in-laws.
