Wow!

That was a journey and a half wasn’t it.

Thank you so much for joining Alessandria, Daniel and their friends for this great adventure. I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I did.

Personally, there was a lot I wanted to do in this book and then it just snowballed from there.

I got the idea of this book originally from an exhibition I attended at the British Museum on Thomas Beckett who was the Archbishop of Canterbury in the 1100s and he got assassinated by the English King at that time. And as I was looking at the artifacts and other relics at the exhibition, I saw this amazing shard of his bone and I was amazed.

Like wow! That’s an actual piece of his skull.

Then as I went around the exhibition I started to see more and more interesting items. Creating the idea for the five items for the Resurrection.

So I ready spoke about the bones that were stolen from a Museum in the book. But I got the idea for the Robes, Ring and Sceptre from a small part of the exhibition. Where Beckett was given these special objects when he became Archbishop but his were never recovered.

But I was thought what if they weren’t destroyed or were recovered?

In addition, the idea for the Cult and the Blood of Bennett came from lots of sections of the exhibition talking about the Cult of Beckett and how dedicated they were to him. But these Cultists were obsessed with Thomas Beckett’s blood since they believed it had special powers.

Personally, it was a great day out that I absolutely loved.

Moving onto our characters, I wasn’t sure at the beginning of the book what the problems the characters were going to have. But then it turned out that Daniel and Harrison were having problems with the Church about their marriage. So they needed to find a solution.

Then I wanted to build upon a subtheme of Heart of Prophecy where Alessandria was concerned about the media and how they would attack Nemesio. So this needed to be investigated in this book.

Finally, I knew when I started this book I wanted to make Harrison paralysed by the end because I wanted to add more challenges to the couple. (Like there weren’t enough already!) but I also wanted to show how much Daniel loves Harrison.

Overall, I absolutely loved writing this book and I really hope you enjoyed it. The next book is called Heart of Fate and it will be amazing.
