Francesc Gasch was born in 1986. He has a degree in design engineering and a master’s degree in product design from Elisava, the Barcelona School of Design and Engineering. After spending seven months working for a French company, Gasch returned to Barcelona and established his studio in 2010. He has won several international prizes, such as the 5th Edition of Hi-cooking Castey Design Awards.
The U-Bike was planned for the bike hire system in Barcelona. The transparency of the structure confers a sensation of lightness, and it has a GPS for easy locating.
The Oled is a proposal of a compact digital camera designed for Swarovski. Its fine organic flexible LED screen makes its small size possible and has secured its place in the market as a camera with a difference. It also combines Swarovski jewels with a high-tech gadget.
The Ergo-glue aims to improve on the original design of the glue gun. It is easier to transport and use, with its rechargeable battery, and the result is a more functional product, thanks to the ergonomic grip.
