In English, the word jib refers to the metal structure that is used during filming to cover angles that cannot be reached from the ground. With this metaphor as a basis for their studio, JiB designers’ mission is to make things more accessible. Their portfolio includes furniture and product designs. The company works with three central elements: composition, proportion, and materials.
The O Collection was designed to create furniture with space for plants, books, and other objects that are kept in view. Console O is a center table where ceramic containers form the surface and, at the same time, can be used for storage.
Credenza O can be experienced from different viewpoints. Viewed from a standing position, the circular ceramic containers form a pattern. From the front, the gaze is drawn by the various holes.
