The young designer Jessica Ma began by studying architecture; then, after graduating, she decided to study for a degree in industrial design at Montreal University. This second course allowed her to explore and satisfy her curiosity about objects and our ways of interacting with them. Ma’s main interest is in consumer products that are both functional and indispensable. One of her projects has appeared in The Gazette.
The STaTion has a dual function: closed, it is a bookshelf with storage capacity on both sides; it can also be opened to reveal a worktable. This piece would easily fit into a small apartment.
