Sebastian Bergne graduated from London’s Royal College of Art in 1990 and founded his studio soon after. Since then, Bergne has accumulated an excellent and diverse portfolio. His work varies, although he usually focuses on household items such as teapots and frying pans. His designs are simple and efficient, and his work has been recognized with several international prizes, as well as by his participation in publications and exhibitions.
The Measuring Square is a silk handkerchief that can be used to measure surfaces. The fabric is stamped with a metric-unit grid, as shown in the sketch.
Soup & Co is a kitchen robot designed for Moulinex. With 1,100 watts and the capacity to reach a temperature of 100 °C, this machine comes with four installed programs and does not require supervision.
The Curl is a sculptural LED table lamp. Light is reflected on the curved white surface and can be directed toward various points.
