Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 1991, the young Jason Putra is studying product design at Auckland University in New Zealand. He has shown a passion for design since childhood, along with an intense curiosity about how the objects that surround him work. He loves helping others “like a superhero,” and he strives for excellent consumer experiences, the use of renewable materials, and a simple and modern look.

The Recycling Project is a design for iPhone® holders that is made with recycled materials such as cork and PVC tubes. It provides good support for the mobile phone and amplifies sound through the ends of the tubes.

The Z-Cured is an alternative to the traditional sling, eliminating the need for straps around the neck and allowing the angle to be adjusted. The exterior is made of ABS plastic and the interior of a soft, breathable material. It is light, flexible, and strong.
