Born in Brest, France, industrial designer Sebastien Sauvage was raised in Paris and now lives in Hong Kong. He specializes in product design, having completed a master’s degree at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in England. He uses the complex combination of cultures that he is acquainted with to create innovative products and take on new challenges. He has designed for multinationals such as Electrolux, Motorola, and Bosch, and has received awards and appeared in international publications.
The Eclipse is a cordless telephone with a base station. Both parts have the same elliptical shape, so when fitted together they form a perfect circle. With a backlit keyboard and a high-shine finish, this telephone is elegant, modern, and timeless.
The MBP36 is an audio and video baby monitor. The LCD screen measures 3.5 inches, the ultra-sensitive microphone transmits all of the little one’s movements and grunts, and the infrared camera works in the dark. It functions from a distance of 656 feet (200 meters).
