Sarah Böttger bases her ideas for products on her observations of daily activities and puts special emphasis on combining traditional materials with modern techniques, which produces interesting intersections between the two. Böttger earned a degree in industrial design in 2009 from the University of Offenbach am Main and aims to develop products with a unique identity that will prevail in the long term. Her work has been exhibited in Milan, Paris, Barcelona, and Shanghai.
The Skale is a spatial collage comprising a set of metal structures with the same shape but various sizes. It can be used as a wardrobe, hanger, table, chair, or shoe holder.
Juuri is a collection of jars of different heights. All are cut from the same container, so they share the same width. They can be closed or combined using a rubber ring and flexible plastic covers.
