Jonathan Fundudis and Renko Nieman decided to establish Snapp Design with the goal of making subtle changes to human culture by creating simple and efficient products. Timeless design is important and can evoke emotions that contribute to a sense of well-being. The team has been nominated for the German Design Award 2013 and won the Good Design Award in 2011.
The Splay Salad Server is made of a flexible material similar to plastic. The gently curved fingers at the end form a fork.
The fiberglass Orbit stool was inspired by a spinning top. The cork base cushions the weight of the person on the stool and allows rotation on the same axis. The side slot can be used to hold magazines.
The wooden Slice Cutting Board, with wedge-shaped gaps at each end, makes it easier to transfer the food after it has been cut.
The Engage Wine Rack Imitates a LEGO set. The individual cylinders can be stacked in multiple ways and, being magnetic, they remain joined and stable.
