Studiomama was established in 2000 by a married couple of designers: Nina Tolstrup and Jack Mama. Besides being multidisciplinary, their work is timeless, honest, fun, and unpretentious. Studiomama is a pioneer in the use of recycled materials that extend product life and also in challenging conventional business and distribution methods. Tolstrup, observant and curious, studied at Les Ateliers school of industrial design in Paris and earned a degree in marketing from the Copenhagen Business School.
Using traditional structures as a starting point, Re-Imagined chairs allow you to adjust the backrest and seat to create different angles. They are upholstered with exclusive fabrics from Arthur David Design.
The ON/OFF Alarm Clock was designed for Lexon. The alarm is switched off by turning the clock on its side.
The Reveal Cabinet is made of recycled floorboards, which contrast with its shape. The hollows provide wardrobe and shelving areas, supplying an original negative space.
