Born in Philadelphia, Brad Ascalon specializes in furniture design, packaging, consumer goods, and environmental design, as well as participating in art installation projects. His work has been exhibited in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In 2007, his first designs were included in the ICFF Studio Bernhardt Design Exhibition, which promoted the work of designers around the world.
The natural wooden legs of Timber’s design, inspired by rural furniture, penetrate the aluminum surface, creating an original and rustic relief. It was co-designed with Frederick McSwin for NFS.
With its minimalist, geometric forms, the trapezoidal Pillar Chair, designed for Bernhardt Design, is upholstered in multiple vibrant colors and comes with the option of a swivel base.
This steel coffee table designed for Ligne Roset is powder coated. The base of the Lovey Table consists of a metal support with three short legs reminiscent of tree branches. Walnut is used for the detailing.
