If you haven’t made our delicious Japanese Curry Roux, or just don’t feel like it yet, you can use a prepackaged Japanese curry for the Japanese Curry Meatballs.

1 (6.52-ounce) package House brand Java Curry

⅔ Fuji apple, grated

½ tablespoon honey

½ tablespoon crushed chili flakes

4 cups water

15 (6.52-ounce) packages House brand Java Curry

10 Fuji apples, grated

7½ tablespoons honey

7½ tablespoons crushed chili flakes

15 quarts water


 

Add all ingredients to a pot/pan and heat over medium heat. Break up curry and mix until sauce is one consistency and there aren’t any lumps. Add your choice of protein and vegetables and enjoy whatever makes you happy (and know that the Japanese Curry Roux is waiting for you whenever you get around to making it, ha-ha).
