gail anderson is a New York City–based designer, writer, and educator. She is a partner at Anderson Newton Design (AND) and on the faculty at the School of Visual Arts. Anderson serves on the Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee for the United States Postal Service, and on the board of the Type Directors Club. She is the recipient of the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award from the AIGA.
