Pork chops don't usually excite us all that much. They frequently overcook and end up dry, dismal, and flavorless. All of that changes when you cook them in an air fryer. The inside remains juicy while the outside slightly fries as a result of the high heat circulation that takes place. After 20 minutes, the most of which was hands-off time, dinner is practically ready.

Our recipe includes plenty of spices and Parmesan for the ideal crust, but you can experiment with the ingredients to find what works best for you. For a subtle touch, sprinkle it with cajun seasoning or burger seasoning, or just use pre-made spice blends like Old Bay and Cavender's Greek Seasoning.

One thing to keep in mind is that the amount of time needed to cook the pork chops completely depends on their size. We used 1 inch-thick, boneless slices for our recipe. If you choose bone-in, cooking time will be longer; likewise, if your pork chops are thicker, cooking time will need to be extended.

Ingredients

Steps

Use paper towels to pat the pork chops dry before applying oil to both sides.

Mix Parmesan, paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper in a medium bowl. Apply the Parmesan mixture evenly to the pork chops on both sides, pressing it in place.

Pork chops should be arranged in a single layer in an air fryer basket. Cook at 375° for 9 minutes, flipping once, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest portion of the pork chop reads 145°.

Prior to serving, give the pork chops about 10 minutes to rest.
