Ingredients
1 lb 90% lean ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced carrot
28 oz can diced tomatoes
32 oz beef stock
2 bay leaves
4 oz small pasta
Instructions:
- Season the ground beef and brown it, breaking it up in an Instant Pot set to the Sauté function for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the carrots, celery and onion and sauté for 3 minutes.
- Mix in the rest of the ingredients except the pasta.
- Close the lid and select the Soup function.
- Do a quick release of pressure.
- Stir in the pasta and then select the Manual function for 6 minutes.
- Discard the bay leaves.
