Ingredients
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
Pepper to taste
Garlic Powder to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1½ cups water
1 tablespoon Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
⅓ cup white wine
½ cup soy sauce
1½ tablespoons honey
5 garlic cloves, minced
1½ teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
3 tablespoons scallions, chopped
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Season the chicken with garlic powder and pepper.
- Heat the oil in an Instant Pot set to the Sauté mode and brown the chicken thighs in it on both sides.
- Mix together the sriracha, soy sauce, water, wine, garlic, honey and ginger in a bowl and pour it over the chicken in the Instant Pot.
- Select the Manual function for 5 minutes.
- Do a quick release of pressure.
- Whisk together the cold water and cornstarch and mix it in the sauce.
- Set the Instant Pot to the Sauté function and cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve garnished with the sesame seeds and scallions.
