Adam Bunch is the author of The Toronto Book of the Dead, creator of the Toronto Dreams Project, and host of the Canadiana documentary series, which was nominated for a 2020 Canadian Screen Award. He’s taught history at George Brown College, and his work popularizing Toronto’s past has earned an honourable mention for a Governor General’s History Award. Adam is a former history columnist for Spacing and has written for Torontoist and the Huffington Post. He has also spent years as a music journalist. Adam has lived in Toronto since he was two months old, growing up along the Humber River, raised on stories of Hurricane Hazel and of Marilyn Bell, of jazz era swing clubs and war-time romances. He lives on St. Clair West.
