Pineapple-Coconut Cognitive Smoothie
This recipe is easy to make and satisfying for people of all ages who want to support cognitive function by feeding the brain nutrients and fats it can readily use for fuel.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen or fresh pineapple
½ cup coconut milk
1 cup coconut cream
1 tablespoon coconut oil
10 drops stevia liquid
Directions
1.  Blend all ingredients and serve cold.
2.  Add specific nutrients from the cognitive protocol to the smoothie.
Variations
Frozen mango or blueberries also go well with pineapple and can be substituted. For example, using ½ cup of pineapple and 1 cup of mango or ½ cup blueberries. Another option is to substitute 2 heaping tablespoons of pure cocoa for the fruit. If you want to gain weight, you can add 1 heaping scoop of whey protein.
