Chapter Fifteen || Theo

It’s only been a few weeks since the moment we decided we’d try something. But I couldn’t say no to her. The way she had dressed, the way she walked, and the way she sat in my lap.

I was screwed the moment we ran into each other again. I looked it up and technically we weren’t going against anything. I wasn’t related to her biologically and wasn’t even labeled as her guardian.

I was older than her, but she was above age, though, it might be considered the strangest type of relationship I ever saw. She wasn’t that same child, she was just Liv.

I looked at her with a smile on my face. “Okay, but if you tell your uncle, I won’t ever live this down.”

She took the black helmet and placed it on her head. “I’ll admit you look sexy wearing my helmet,” I said as I walked closer to her and embraced her. The way her hands went around my neck.

“I’m so lucky. Thank you.” She nudged her nose closer and cuddled into me. With the fall weather, she wore a pair of tight fitted leggings. Then she wore some beaded design shirt. She also wore a black jacket along with my helmet, making her look like one badass bitch.

“Amazing.” We stood in my garage with the door open but were far enough in the back that no one could see.

We hadn’t told her uncle and aunt and I didn’t feel like we should yet, either.

“Well, this amazing looking woman is waiting for her ride.” I patted my new motorcycle; it was a Café Racer and very well in its design bracket. It had a light gold tint to it, which only made it more exciting to ride.

I leapt on the front and smiled.

“Wrap your arms around me and hold on. Pinch my leg if you want me to pull over.” I felt her hands sneak around my waist. She and I were both wearing our protective helmets, we were prepared.

Then she leaned her head on my back and I started the engine. We drove; most of our dates were out of the city as little towns talked, big time. But I wasn’t ashamed of being with her, maybe in the beginning and part of me hated myself for it.

But I can’t deny what I feel for her. We drove along the highway, the roaring of the engine and the feeling of the cold wind on us as we made our way to the nearest big city. When we got into town, the night sky was well upon us. I pulled into a restaurant and smiled.

“You look beautiful,” I said as I lifted the helmet off her head and kissed her. Her lips were softer than mine, but everything about her was softer. I ran my hands over her hair to straighten it out from the wind. As I pulled back, she grasped my hand; with a skip to her step as she led me to the restaurant.

Inside she seemed so excited. We had gone out around town, but this was different as we could act like a couple.

We found a small diner that was perfect for our style.

“A table for two, for my boyfriend and me!” she said gleefully, at the server who led us to a booth in the back.

“Here’s the menus, a waitress will be with you soon.” I sat down and she came close to me and leaned her head on my shoulder, wrapping my arm around her.

“That was so amazing! I loved it! Thank you for taking me on your motorcycle.” She leaned up and kissed my cheek.

“I had a blast; I’m glad you could enjoy it to.” I didn’t drive too fast and drove as carefully as I could. I don’t want another accident like what happened in the spring.

We ordered ourselves a burger with French fries and she ordered a milkshake for us to share. My girl was an avid reader and she did want to enjoy cutesy date ideas. I knew I had to start reading a few to make her dreams come true.

I watched as she took a sip of the milkshake, the double straws calling out for me to do the same. I pressed my lips to the straw and slurped. She had moved some, just so we could look into each other’s eyes as we drank the shared shake.

Her eyes were filled with longing as I stared at them, taking in each little detail they had. I grasped her hand under the table and held it closely to mine. I loved this girl. She was perfect. She drew back and held her head high.

“I am going to get a brain freeze if I drink anymore at this moment.” We both ate and talked about trivial things happening in our day-to-day life. She mentioned her aunt and their accidental pregnancy scare she’d had.

I couldn’t imagine her having another one, as the first two seemed hectic enough. She looked at me as she grabbed a few fries and slowly chewed them. I could tell she was holding something back.

“Do you want kids?” she asked me. Taken aback by it, I nodded my head.

“One day for sure. I never really thought of my life before. It was always thinking about you and your uncle. What he wanted from his life and however I helped with it.” I watched as she moved closer to me. Placing her hand on my chest, she leaned up and kissed me.

“You always thought of me. You see how I feel safe and know this is something I want. You always put me first.”

I nuzzled myself closer to her and kissed her forehead. “You’ll always mean the world to me, Liv. Nothing can change that.”

“You know that I want you. I’ll always want you.” Her face scrunched up for a moment before she turned to the waitress, who cleared her throat.

“Sorry to interrupt, folks, can I get you dessert?”

“We would like a piece of your cheesecake and pecan pie.”

“Sure, that’ll be ready soon. I’ll also bring you guys another milkshake.” Liv nodded and watched as the waitress left. Then she faced me.

“Do you want, want me?” she asked as I tried to gather my senses. I assumed she was asking about sexually wanting her. I ran my hand across her hair and leaned to her cheek.

“You’re exceptionally beautiful, Liv. A guy would be crazy not to want you.” I leaned down and kissed her. I moved my lips across her cheekbone before I reached her ear.

“Of course, I want you. But I don’t want anything you don’t want.” I pulled back a bit and smiled at her.

“I will stay chaste my entire life if that is what you need. I don’t want anyone else. I’m sure I will go to the furthest corner of hell, but I can’t change how I feel for you.”

She leaned closer and moved to a point where she was almost on my lap. She was noticeably light and even when she did things like that it was nowhere near my two-fifty bench press at the gym.

“One day we will, you won’t be chaste forever. But…” Her sentence trailed as a crimson blush came to her cheek before she covered her face with her hands.

“Hey, is my girl shy?” She gave me a light nudge and began to giggle.

“Come on, tell me. What were you going to say?”

She leaned to my ear; her gentle breath alone sent a shiver down my spine.

“I want you to want me. I like to know that you would… when and if we could.” She sat back and I was glad because besides the waitress coming, my cock twitched with anticipation.

Nothing was going to happen, and I began to think of disgusting things like snails, large slimy snakes, or an alligator coming up the toilet while sitting on it.

A gentle laugh caressed the atmosphere as she grabbed a knife and split the cheesecake and pecan pie. Then a piece of each were combined on a plate.

“Your taste of each,” she explained and I loved that we still did this, that our other language we spoke was food. We loved the different combinations of foods and trying how it would taste together.

Watching her eat the pie slowly after our conversation, was enough to make me combust. I didn’t know how I was going to survive.

I thought of the hell she had to experience before. I would never bring it up or ever try to pressure her. She would come to me in her own time and I was surprised to see her even talking about it with me.

My girl was nothing if not a badass strong woman. I would do anything for her, if she didn’t know that already, but I planned to show her.
