Libby Fischer Hellmann writes Compulsively Readable Thrillers. Her 11th crime thriller, NOBODY’S CHILD, the 4th Georgia Davis PI novel, was released September, 2014. In 2013 Libby published HAVANA LOST, a stand-alone historical novel set largely in Cuba. She also wrote A BITTER VEIL (2012), which was set in revolutionary Iran. Her third stand-alone thriller, completing her “Revolution Trilogy” was SET THE NIGHT ON FIRE (2010), which goes back to the late Sixties in Chicago.
Libby also writes two crime series, one with hard-boiled PI Georgia Davis, the other with video producer Ellie Foreman, which Libby describes as “Desperate Housewives” meets “24.”
She has been nominated twice for the Anthony Award, once for the Agatha, twice for Foreword Reviews Thriller of the Year, and has won the Lovey Award multiple times. She lives in Chicago and claims they’ll take her out feet first.
