FLAC is an independent human rights organisation which operates a lo-call telephone information line and, in conjunction with the Citizens Information Board, a network of part-time legal advice centres throughout Ireland. Many FLAC centres are located in local citizens information centres (CICs). Certain centres specialise in different areas of law such as family, employment or immigration. Please check the website or phone ahead if you wish to visit a specialist centre.
FLAC has a range of downloadable leaflets containing basic legal information on some legal areas. It also produces ‘FLACsheets’ on core campaign areas such as social welfare, personal debt, consumer credit and civil legal aid.
