Dedicated with love to Jessica Alliston. Jessica, I’m so proud to be your stepmom, and am equally proud of the way you’ve handled yourself over the past several months. Your car accident on Christmas night is one of those things none of us will ever forget, and we will forever be thankful that you survived. Seeing you fight your way out of the hospital bed and learn to walk again, and begin to regain your independence has been amazing to witness. I know you still have struggles ahead, but I also know that you can conquer those. Continue to trust in God—He’s got this! And as you know, we will all be there to help you every step of the way.
