ELIJAH HIDES FROM AHAB

Elijah prophesied a drought and then hid from King Ahab by the Kerith (Cherith) Brook, where he was fed by ravens. When the brook dried up, God sent him to Zarephath in Phoenicia, where a widow and her son fed him and gave him lodging.
