Solomon asked King Huram of Tyre to provide supplies and skilled workmen to help build God’s Temple in Jerusalem. The plan was to cut the cedar logs in the mountains of Lebanon, float them by sea to Joppa, then bring them inland to Jerusalem by the shortest and easiest route.
