Godly Cupbearers

Words to Treasure

So Pharaoh sent for Joseph. He was quickly brought out of the prison. Joseph shaved and changed his clothes. Then he came to Pharaoh.

Genesis 41:14

The dolphins swam around the trainers in the lagoon. Taylor stood at the side of the tank and scratched at his new wetsuit. Tanya and David waved and swam over to Taylor. Tanya sat on the edge of the water. “James Haskell told me that you’re a very good volunteer.”

“I helped James fix up the otter pool,” said Taylor.

“We need someone to help us with a few things around here. You up to working with us and Herbie and Oliver?”

Taylor couldn’t talk. This was a dream come true. He felt weak in the knees. He squeaked, “Yes.”

Tanya motioned for him to sit beside her. “I’ll introduce you to the boys.” She slapped the water, and the dolphins joined them. “Herbie, Oliver, this is Taylor. Taylor these are my guys.” Taylor reached out and touched a real live dolphin for the first time. This was the start of the rest of his life, and he knew it.

Just like the cupbearer suggested to Pharaoh to send for Joseph, God is going to put people in your life who are going to help open amazing doors for you. They are going to say just the right thing to the right people at just the right time. When that happens, hold on for an adventure you never dreamed could come true.

Did You Know?
