Daniel 6:20
The two dogs growled and barked at the three little kids walking home from school. Monica saw what was happening and quietly walked from behind a car to stand beside them. “I want you to back up slowly, climb up onto the car, and sit on the roof.” The kids did what she told them to do. Monica prayed as she opened up her music case with soft clicks of the latches. The dogs growled and showed their teeth. Their barks made her jump with fear. Sweat beaded on her forehead as she slowly pulled what she wanted out of the case.
Then Monica blew on her trumpet as loudly as she could, and the dogs jumped back completely surprised. It was a blast that the entire neighborhood heard. The dogs were frightened and ran away. And people started coming out of their houses to see what was going on.
A man ran over. “Are you kids okay?” The three little kids burst into tears. Monica was trembling, but she had saved the day. Nobody got bitten.
Monica was the right kid for the right time with the right talents to save the day. Do you think God planned that?
