Laundry
A quick look at the laundry-care label on your clothes will tell you how they like to be treated. Here are a few simple guidelines.
- If you don't like the look of the instructions, don't buy it. You will end up ruining it.
- Make sure you follow the instructions.
- Wash hosiery by hand, roll up in a towel, then shake out and dry over an airer.
- Most clothes are best on a cool wash.
- Give them a good shake before you put them out to dry. Clothes benefit from being air-dried outside on the washing line. If you do not have access to an outside washing line, then use an airer. Hang shirts and dresses on a plastic hanger.
- Tumble drying is only suitable for some fabrics. Read the label.
