The Center for Applied Cognitive Studies
The Center for Applied Cognitive Studies is a research-and-dissemination firm, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, that is dedicated to providing assistance to clients in developing their people with the most current information on how the mind learns and performs.
The primary focus of CentACS is on the Five-Factor Model of personality, also known as the “Big Five.” It provides certification programs for human resource professionals in the Big Five, plus specialized application workshops in which participants spend a day exploring how to apply the Big Five in a wide variety of human resource practices:

CentACS has trained thousands of professionals in the use of the Big Five. It now has business partners in Mexico, Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Germany, India, China, Indonesia, and Singapore. This international cadre of master trainers provides Big Five certification training around the world.
In addition to Big Five certification, support, and annual learning conferences, CentACS offers a variety of presentations based on current brain research. Within the last several years, it has presented to educators in Canadian British Columbia and Arizona, to psychologists in Holland and Mexico, and to human resource professionals in Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; Atlanta; and Holland.
