as a rambling man. He was born in El Paso while his Army parents were stationed in Texas, and he’s been through over forty states and lived in three countries over the years. Along the way, he became a proud Nevadan and product of the Silver State’s K12 and higher education system. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, something he reminds people of every day (like most veterans).
The best decision he ever made was when he asked Cassidy Carson to marry him. The jury is still out on whether accepting said proposal was Cassidy’s best decision.
JT’s books are formed from his knowledge and interest in politics, government, and religion, and his characters are maneuvered through strategies honed over many years playing incredibly bad chess. Some might say his books are flavored with the love and romance he’s shared with his soulmate over their many decades together.
Please read his books and reach out to him with constructive criticism. Or just say hi. Really, he’ll talk your ear off if you let him. Thank you.
Way out in the land of the setting sun,
Where the wind blows wild and free,
There’s a lovely spot, just the only one
That means home sweet home to me.
If you follow the old Kit Carson trail,
Until desert meets the hills,
Oh you certainly will agree with me,
It’s the place of a thousand thrills.
Home means Nevada Home means the hills,
Home means the sage and the pine.
Out by the Truckee, silvery rills,
Out where the sun always shines,
Here is the land which I love the best,
Fairer than all I can see.
Deep in the heart of the golden west
Home means Nevada to me.
