About the Illustrator

Just like Salma, Anna Bron moved to Canada with her family when she was very young. She remembers helping her parents with English and making friends in school with kids from all over the world. She always loved to draw from her imagination and when she grew up, she became an illustrator and animator. She gets to work on lots of fun projects, from drawing kids’ books to designing unique characters and working on short animated films. Her favorite things to draw are horses, birds, and mountains. When she’s not drawing, she loves getting outside to hike and ski.
