Kevin C. Fitzpatrick is an independent historian who founded the Dorothy Parker Society in 1999. He is a graduate of Northeast Missouri State University and served in the US Marine Corps. After his hitch he entered journalism and worked in newspapers, magazines, advertising agencies, and television in New York. He is the author and editor of five books.

Anthony Melchiorri has more than two decades of experience running hotels and was the general manager of the Algonquin Hotel from 2005 to 2010. He is the creator and host of Hotel Impossible on the Travel Channel.
His career started at the landmark Plaza Hotel. By age twenty-nine, he was general manager of the Lucerne Hotel. Seven years later, Anthony was appointed general manager of the Algonquin. He left to be senior vice president of the first Nickelodeon Hotel and Resort in Orlando. Anthony later joined Tishman Hotels as asset manager of the Westin Hotel in Times Square.
