Lebanese Pilaf
This is one of the best vegan dishes from the Lebanese menu. This delicious meal is made of 2 ingredients mainly (long-grain white rice and vermicelli semolina). It is a light meal having mild flavors. Feel free to add roasted nuts to give it a crunchy texture. You can have it with other gravy dishes or as it is!
Ingredients:

Instructions:
1. Wash the long rice grain in cold water and dip them in cold water for at least 20 minutes.
2. Drizzle olive oil into a pan and set it on the flame.
3. Cook the vermicelli semolina till you get a nice color of golden brown. Stir occasionally.
4. Drain the excess water from the soaked long grain rice.
5. Add the rice to the roasted semolina and combine them well.
6. Sprinkle the dash of cinnamon and salt. Mix again.
7. Pour the water in the above and cook by covering it. Cook till the water reduces. This will take around 15-20 minutes.
8. Turn off the heat and let it steam for about 5-7 minutes.
9. Remove the cover and serve by garnishing with nuts and chopped parsley.
