Batata Harra
The best side dish or starter is this recipe with potatoes. They are spicy, soft, and full of flavors. You can roast them or deep fry them. It’s amazing to know how the simple potato can be so tasty and flavorful.
Ingredients:

Garlic cloves- 3 (chopped)

Potatoes- 8 (skin removed and cubed)

Lemon wedges- for garnish

Olive oil- 2 tbsp (halved)

Cilantro- 1 cup (minced, halved)

Salt- 1/2 tsp

Red pepper flakes- 2 tsp (halved)

Instructions:
1. Set the oven for preheating at 450°F. Place the parchment paper to line the sheet pan.
2. Transfer the cubes of potatoes to the sheet. Pour a tbsp of oil and sprinkle the salt.
3. Put it in the oven and bake till the cubes have crisped and changed their color to a fine golden color. Toss them in between. This will take around 25-30 minutes.
4. Drizzle a tbsp of oil in a pan and set it on the flame.
5. Sauté the garlic, a tsp of the flakes, and a part of the cilantro. Stir- fry for about 2 minutes. turn off the flame and keep it aside.
6. After the baking is completed, transfer the potatoes to the cilantro mixture. Toss them well.
7. Add the rest of the flakes, cilantro, and fresh juice for garnishing. Serve warm!
