Lebanese Knafeh
This is the best-layered dough and cheesy dessert dipped perfectly in the syrup to give you the best taste. It’s the best and easy dessert to prepare for holidays or a weekend. Adding the pistachios blends perfectly with the sweet taste.

Instructions:
1. Thaw the phyllo dough. Set the oven for preheating at 375°F. Grease the baking pan.
2. Set a saucepan for heating. Pour the water. Add lemon slices, sugar, and boil for about 7 minutes or till the texture has become syrup-like.
3. Turn off the flame and pour the rose water. Keep it aside for cooling.
4. Process the thawed dough in a food processor.
5. Take a bowl and add the processed dough and melted butter. Combine the two well with your hands.
6. Add both the cheese and sugar to another bowl.
7. Layer the prepared dough in the greased pan all around the edges and the base.
8. Layer the cheese and sugar mixture over the dough except for the edges.
9. Put the prepared in the oven and bake till the cheese starts to bubble and the dough has turned brown. This will take around 15-25 minutes.
10. Take it out of the oven and flip it on the serving dish so that the base of the dough is on the top.
11. Pour and spread the prepared sugar syrup all over.
12. Slice into pieces and serve warm.
