Written report regarding the death of Sarah Andersen, age 24

The following was told to us by Noelle Brooks:

About a month after Sarah’s death, image contacted and shared information with Noelle concerning Raymond Douglas and Dale Brady. image claimed that Sarah had found out that the gun she had sold to Dale Brady had been used in the murders of Clayton Sparks and Lindsey Levy on October 18, 2013. It is possible that Sarah also found out about the details surrounding Leland Miller’s death, which occurred sometime in early November.

image said he had been present at a conversation with Raymond Douglas and Dale Brady in which Ray said Sarah needed to be taken care of because of what she knew. Ray wanted to know if she had told anyone about the homicides and expressed interest in looking at her phone to see if she had said anything. In this conversation, Dale Brady stated that he would handle Sarah, that nothing needed to happen to her, but it appeared that Ray disagreed. image also said that two other women had been severely beaten and hospitalized because of what they knew in regards to the murders. image came forward with this information because, he said, he had always liked Sarah and was upset about what happened to her.

Noelle told us that Sarah met Dale Brady in AA. They became close in sobriety and stayed friends when they each relapsed. Dale wrote on her Facebook page that when he found out who did this to her, “they would pay.” In a letter written to Noelle from prison, Dale stated that he believes Ray is responsible for Sarah’s death.

Noelle examined Sarah’s phone and figured out that Ray was the last person with her the morning she died. The following is what Ray told Noelle about that morning. He picked Sarah up to take her to get a gram of heroin and then dropped her back off at her house. He then left to run an errand, and when he returned, Sarah did not answer the door. He left her a note on the door and left.

We are struggling to understand why Ray says he took her to get heroin, but she died of a meth overdose. Why would he admit that he was the one to take Sarah to get drugs the day she died, but lie about the kind of drugs she bought?

The following was told to us by Jack Edwards:

Jack has told us that Sarah had a sexual relationship with Ray. In the three days prior to her death, Sarah had been primarily with Ray. When Jack looked at Sarah’s phone after her death, there were at least five outgoing text messages to Ray. It was clear from the messages that Ray and Sarah were having a conversation; however, someone had wiped the phone of Ray’s replies.

Jack left the state for a month to stay with family, fearing for his safety because of what he knew about Sarah and the gun. When Jack returned to Small Town, he told us that he was coming forward with this information but changed his mind because he is afraid he will be killed. When we offered to come forward instead, Jack said, “Good, they don’t know where you live.” Jack is no longer returning our calls or texts. We believe he is very scared.

This is the small amount of information that we have been able to gather on our own. We appreciate any help with this matter.
