10,000 New Television receivers will be installed before Christmas. Following a successful show at Olympia where the main objective was to show the real meaning and value of television as home entertainment, firms making television sets have sold out all they can turn out between now and mid-December. It has taken the London public two years to realize that it really is worth having television in the home and now the pressure is on the BBC to provide the entertainment.
