1 SAMUEL 20:42
I have a really important friend, Katherine. She is one of the most considerate people I know. She is the type of person that will help you through anything. Whenever we’re together, if anyone so much as bumps his or her toe, she is like, “Oh my gosh! Are you ok?” She cares about everyone and is always doing things for other people. I have never seen her really sad. Even when she is upset, she still seems to be smiling. I have never heard her complain—something I have a problem with. I remember the day we first met, at the playground of my sister’s school. Pam, Kat’s really nice sister, Kat, and I were playing on the merry-go-round. I was cold, so Kat gave me her gloves without me asking for them. That was when we were about nine; now we’re fourteen. I’ve been at her house so many times that her family is like my family. We’re inseparable! I am thankful that God has brought us together. He has used Kat to help me through a lot of hard times. God is such a wonderful Creator to bless people with great friends. Kat is one of my best friends, and I hope to know her for the rest of my life.
