2 CORINTHIANS 5:20
We Christians have a great responsibility. There are many people in the world around us that are living in darkness. Jesus Christ has sent us into the world to be the lights to the dark souls. I pray that we may all realize that people watch how we act and we leave an impression on them, whether good or bad. My brother, Daniel, joined a military-like service organization last year. They are known by all who have met them as being very well-mannered and polite Christian young men. Daniel said that when he puts on the uniform he immediately becomes attentive to anyone who might need help, he does not act foolishly, and he is very careful to say “Yes, sir,” “Yes, ma’am” … all the things to keep this high reputation that the program has. He pointed out to me that in the same way he is concerned about his actions when he is wearing the uniform, so we should be concerned about our actions as Christians. We are wearing Christ’s “uniform.” What are we going to do with His reputation? People are watching us. Shine your light and keep His reputation high!

It’s a little overwhelming to think I represent You, Lord.
You are perfect! I know I can’t be perfect, but help me to do
the best I can to let Your light shine through me.
