moving to tennessee

(part 2)

Such confidence as this is ours
through Christ before God.

2 CORINTHIANS 3:3–4

God did give me strength and peace about moving, but it was still extremely hard. Changing schools in high school is one of the hardest things to do. Most juniors already have their friends and aren’t looking for new ones. I missed my best friend from down the street at my old house … I didn’t even have to knock on her door to go in. During this time of loneliness, I called on the Lord. My relationship with Him was strengthened. He gave me endurance, and perseverance to keep going. I had never lived near my extended family before, so I learned quickly that my grandmother would listen to my problems and pray with me whenever I needed someone. I don’t know how I would have gotten through that year without the Lord and Him putting her in my life.

Father, thank You for putting people
in my life that support me and bring me
closer to You. I couldn’t make it without them.
