simple faith

(part 2)

Now; faith is being sure of what we
hope for and certain of what we do not see.

HEBREWS 11:1

When Jesus’ disciples asked Him why they had not been able to drive out a demon, Jesus’ answer was so straightforward: All you need is faith. There is no formula or remedy; all you need is faith as small as a mustard seed and nothing will be impossible for you! That is an amazing promise! So faith is believing in the possibility of what seems impossible. Just focus on the promise instead of worrying how it will come to pass. It was so easy for the Nepali lady to believe in Christ’s healing power because she also had experienced and known the power of darkness. When she became a Christian, she was given a storybook of the power of God in one man. That book is the Bible, and she has every reason to believe it is true. Sometimes I am so realistic that I forget there are other realms working for and against us. The power of the Kingdom of God is available to you today. Just make sure your heart is right towards God and ask Him for the miracle you are waiting for. Look beyond the problem. Can you see the fulfilled promise that is there for you to grab hold of? It wouldn’t be called simple faith if it wasn’t that simple.

Lord, I want to have great faith.
I want to look impossible in the face and say, “It is possible.” Teach me to trust You more.
