dreams

Surely you desire truth in the inner parts;
you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
PSALM 51:6

Some have dreams, others nightmares.
One moment’s pain expanded upon the mind,
Or one happy thought of peace.
It seems so real, yet you think you know it’s not.
You think it’s all a lie.
Dreams aren’t just pictures of happiness or sorrow,
They are images of the world around you.
They show the things you want,
Or the things you refuse to accept.
My dreams are cloudy and too often forgotten,
But when they’re remembered,
Dreams can set you free.

Father, thank You for giving me dreams.
And thank You for teaching me
Your wisdom so that I’m able to accomplish them.
