2 CORINTHIANS 12:9–10
As I face new daily challenges, I am constantly amazed at how often God reminds me of His plan for my life. There are times when everything is going great and I’m SO thankful for all God has given me. Then there are those times when things aren’t going so great and being thankful is much more difficult, and it seems as though it would be easier to give up and walk away from the Lord’s plan rather than to stand firm in my faith and look at how I can grow from each individual experience. Anytime that I’m feeling frustrated with a situation in life and it seems as though I’m too weak to get through it, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 reminds me that it’s okay to show signs of weakness because I’m not supposed to go through life on my own. I need to lean on God for EVERYTHING. It’s at these times that God steps in and really works in my life, showing His power and greatness. Thankfully we serve a loving God who knows each and every individual inside and out, and He will draw close to us at exactly the right moment so He can be a source of help and protection when we need Him the most.
