MATTHEW 5:15–16
Every day teenagers go through life conforming to the ways of the world. As Christians we are supposed to step above the things of this world and live differently. Matthew 5:15-16 states that we as Christians are supposed to be a burning candle to light up this dark world. When I go to school each day, it is sometimes hard for me to remember that I am supposed to be a light and act differently from the people of this world. I have a testimony, and I need to live it every day so that people can see Jesus through me. So just remember when you are somewhere surrounded by evil, take out your flame and let it shine for Jesus. We have been given what we need by Jesus to be mighty in this world. We simply need to let Jesus work through our lives to be a bright shining light in a dark world.
