ECCLESIASTES 3:1
This is my first year of high school, and I want to do everything—all of the after-school activities such as basketball and even watching football and volleyball. My problem, however, is that I still want to do all of the activities that I did before school started, such as Irish Dance. When I joined the basketball team for the school, the schedule worked so I could keep doing all the activities I wanted. Then the schedule for dance changed, and I ended up having to drop piano to give more time for homework, sleep, and my family. But that still left the dance and basketball issue. Dance has been my life for eleven years. I couldn’t drop that from my busy schedule too. And what about basketball? It’s the first time I’ve really participated with a team. The feeling of knowing that someone will always try to be there if I need them is wonderful. I’m having fun with a lot of my friends. I really didn’t want to drop basketball either. So I started praying: God, thank you for the ability to do dance and basketball, but what am I going to do about next year? Then it came to me: nothing. If I am suppose to do both basketball and dance next year, then God will make a way for me to do that. I just have to wait until God’s plan unfolds.

God, thank You for giving me so many opportunities,
so many things to enjoy. Just, please,
help me juggle them all! Amen.
